Under S8IS, I provide independent economic impact studies for companies, public authorities, associations and other institutions. I analyse how investments, policy measures and economic shocks affect economies, industries and regions.

Typical questions may concern the effects of a major investment on output and employment, the consequences of changes in energy prices or trade conditions, and the economic losses caused by disruptions such as floods. The analysis considers the links between industries and regions, including indirect effects and economic adjustments.

My approach draws on Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling and more than 20 years of experience in economic research and teaching. My philosophy is to help clients gain a clearer understanding of economic developments and what these mean for their goals and ambitions. The research findings are presented in studies. Each study is tailored to the research question and the client’s decision-making process.
